The LINK 340 tracker is providing large companies with the added security that their assets are safe. As many can be left away from base for a period time, the LINK 340 will send a daily heartbeat check to the Webfleet platform for 90 days after being disconnected from power. The inner battery of the LINK 340 will continue to power the unit for 90 days if it was fully charged at time of release.
The area alert feature is extremely useful is keeping an eye on your assets movements. Webfleet will send an alert to any smart device informing of an asset being out of a predefined area. This gives the owner a chance to respond to theft immediately and a greater chance of recovering any stolen items.
The LINK 340 is able to pair with the LINK 740 vehicle tracking unit to give better understanding of which vehicle is pulling which trailer.
